Last year there was a diary reading held as a fundraiser for a local gallery and I went with my friend Vince. I wasn’t sure if I was going to read or not, and it was just set up as first come first serve. I ended up going second-last and it was OK. Mine wasn’t as funny and embarrassing as some others, but it felt great.

Nick and Nora was awesome. It’s been a few days since I went to the theatre to see it, and I think of it a lot. If I weren’t broke I’d head to HMV to get the soundtrack. I’m unemployed right now. It has been a long time since I have not had - at the very least - a part time job. I’ve set a deadline for myself of three weeks to try and get a permanent job of some kind and if I can’t do that, then I’ll go back to temping (which is what I did for the summer before Peru).
