Something we came across at work. Pretty awesome and well done.
I have a date tomorrow night.
That’s right kids - a real live date. At least I think that’s what it is. The situation with The Boy is too complicated to type at this juncture in my day, but the reason I’m putting this out there is because I know Mothers everywhere have always said to “Be yourself” in situations like dates and job interviews, but what are some things that I just shouldn’t...

The art of losing isn’t hard to master; so many things seem filled with the intent to be lost that their loss is no disaster.
Lose something every day. Accept the fluster of lost door keys, the hour badly spent. The art of losing isn’t hard to master.
Then practice losing farther, losing faster: places, and names, and where it was you meant to travel. None of these will...
Fall Clothes List
I know I’m wayyyy behind - It’s almost October… but I’ve been away, so that’s my excuse. I’m also unemployed and all of this sitting around pining over cute clothes isn’t very healthy, but I am in need of some fall things. Feeling inspired by whatiwore, here are some of the items I plan to pick up as soon as I get some cash flow:

Scenario:
You meet a guy. Perhaps you’ve met this person before, maybe not - doesn’t matter. So you meet him… at the bar, lets say. He’s with friends of yours. You dance, talk, etc. Maybe he even walks you home. You do not “get with” this person in any way other than a kiss.
Pretty G-Rated, I know.
Then, you think to yourself, “Self, I’d like to...

You won’t find me above the border.
Alright, enough is enough.
Two things:
1) Tumblr has successfully made me lazy on the internet. Now I can follow other websites that I would normally visit apart from Tumblr. (ex: ffffound). As if sitting at my desk on the computer wasn’t an act full of laze in itself.
2) Today I vow to start my portfolio so that I can get a job. But first? Breakfast.

T minus 39 days until Halloween.
Costume planning commences NOW.
Ideas? None. Excitement? Through the roof.
Go see this film if you get the chance.
Hilarity will ensue.
Summerhood is a story of a nine-year-old “boy with a brain” nicknamed Fetus and all of his equally horibly nicknamed friends as they spend yet another summer at camp. This is a coming of age summer for a boy who is barely actually coming of age. Believe me, you will not feel like you’ve been cheated out of a solid adult experience as this film is not for...
There’s gotta be something or someone else at work out there.. Too many things seem haphazardly coincidental to be just that. But that’s OK - I guess. Keeps things interesting.
I want to go home.
