1. I need budget design inspiration.

    I’d like to make my room look like a real Grown Up lives here (first thing first: get a bed frame so I’m not just on a mattress on the goddamn floor) but everything on Apartment Therapy is like, 6,000 dollars or some such. I mean, I love Mid Century Modern just as much as the next girl, but that Eames stuff gets pricy.

    How do I break out of Ikea hell?

    There’s something here. People need solutions for their homes (read: TINY ASS APARTMENTS) that aren’t, as jgh points out, 6,000 dollars. And while AT is good for visual inspiration, how does someone without an extensive budget re-create those looks?
