In response to Syd’s mascara post…I am a mascara freak too and I love Buxom. In fact, it made such an impact on me, I wrote about it when I first bought it.  Lately, I’ve been using the pink and green Maybelline standby because my mom gave me some when I was in Atlanta.  It’s still good, but that Buxom brush has me spoiled.  I swear it makes it look like I am wearing false eyelashes.  I wonder if it’s like shampoo and different hair types prefer different mascara?

I love this mascara.  But there is something about it that is a little odd and annoying. When I’m baking and I open the oven to peek inside, my eye lashes melt together and then I panic and can’t see.  Yeah, it is a bit of a problem, but I keep using it. Beauty is pain.

I use this kind, too! I bought it mainly for the typography and packaging at first (there’s just so much to choose from a Sephora!) but, I must admit, it does a really good job at lengthening and separating for me!
