Do I want to make this a blog about Design? I feel like there are so many people talking about design that nothing I say will be original, but Pat told me:
“… do what you love … that alone makes you successful.”
I really love design. I honestly (and perhaps naively) think it can - and will - change the world. I just don’t know what separates me from every other blogger who talks about design. It would almost serve me better to, rather than talk about design, do more design. I’m really conflicted. I want to be part of the conversation and the community, so maybe it’s okay for me to take what other people are talking about and tack my two cents on the end. Maybe at a high level the blog could be about my journey in design; of defining my trade through experiences and looking and reading and doing.
I also know that, as evrt said, I should
“create original content not found anywhere else.”
That, I don’t know if I can do. It would be the thing to make my blog different from other design blogs.
This is a tipping point for me. I either need to shit … or… you know the rest.
