Live in NYC ( I know - cliche - but I can’t help it!) for no less than one year. With a job. I thought that I would grow out of this obsession to live there and really see if it is the kind of place I can survive in, but I haven’t. And so, I conclude that it is something I must attempt. Otherwise I could end up bitter, resentful, and/or regretful. And no one wants that, no sir-ee.
