August 11th…It’s Hello Health day!!!!
As of 8 am this morning, hellohealth.com is alive and well. All of the people on the site are patients of mine who live here in the neighborhood. The photos were taken by Noah Kalina. The site was designed by The Barbarian Group. All of this was made possible by one of the most talented groups of people you could ever conceive…our team at Myca.
We are now accepting new members.
The cost is $35 a month and the first visit is free.
Tell all of your Williamsburg friends.
Free (basic) health care.
This doctor sounds awesome. Text messaging for prescription renewals, emails for answers to quick questions, visiting you at home and same or next day appointments. But $35 a month just to have access to his email address and cell phone number? $200 for a visit? Wow.
I don’t know if, at that price, I would ever see a doctor unless I thought I was going to die.
That said, maybe I just don’t see the value in what a doctor can provide. I’ve only had a hand full of instances where I needed the doctor right away, but I’m pretty pumped that even though I might have to wait a week to get in to see my doctor, I leave with the same amount of money in the bank as I had when I got there.
It shouldn’t cost money to maintain good health. That’s the real problem with health care.
