1. Jon Bryant - Think Back

  2. Jon Bryant - The Hallelujah

Okay, so I’m just gonna go on for a quick sec about how many talented people there are in the world. There’s a lot. In my life especially, there seems to be a surplus of amazing, talented people. Jon and I aren’t super close friends anymore, but he’s certainly someone who can always get me smiling and who’s always smiling himself (of course he is; he’s got a big exciting life ahead of him). Anyway, his music is very spiritual (but not in the way that’s off-putting), he has a wonderful voice and he’s not hard to look at, either. So give this video a look then go on over to iTunes and get his album. He’s a designer, too and did all the artwork himself. I meant it when I said talented.

  3. You guys,

I’m serious. Go download Jon’s single (it’s FREE). People are comparing his sound to City and Colour, so if you dig Dallas you’ll dig Jon.

We use to pass notes using only acronyms in junior high.
    Just sayin’.

  4. My Friend Jon is a musician (and a Designer, too!). He categorizes himself as “Folk Acoustic Pop” which doesn’t really matter except to say that his music is pretty amazing. I’ve known Jon for a long time, so there is some bias here, but the thing is: I’m not the only one who feels this way. The people over at iTunes think he’s pretty rad also and have put his new album, Two Coasts for Comfort in the Canadiana section of the store (yup, on the page right beside Neil Young).
The reason I’m bringing this to you is so that you might go to iTunes today and download his first single “Deaf”. It’s the free single of the week (if you’re Canadian).
If you don’t have access to the Canadian iTunes, then you can click here to check out his website or here for his myspace where you can listen to a few tunes.
